廣州番外外國語學(xué)校(原廣東外語外貿(mào)大學(xué)附設(shè)番禺外國語學(xué)校)是廣東外語外貿(mào)大學(xué)在廣州南部主辦的一所現(xiàn)代化、國際化的九年制精品寄宿學(xué)校,設(shè)有小學(xué)部和初中部。
Guangzhou Panwai Foreign Language School (formerly known as Panyu Foreign Language School affiliated with Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and International Trade) is a modern and international nine-year boutique boarding school sponsored by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and International Trade in southern Guangzhou, with primary school and junior high school.

番外實(shí)行小班化教學(xué),每班學(xué)生人數(shù)不超過30人,每班配備兩位班主任,讓每個孩子都得到充分關(guān)注。
番外追求高效課堂,要求老師必須提前做好教學(xué)設(shè)計,在40分鐘內(nèi)用孩子們易于接受的方式將知識點(diǎn)講透徹,用老師的高水平與高投入,換取孩子們的輕負(fù)荷,讓孩子們擁有更多可支配時間,來發(fā)展自己的興趣愛好。
Small class teaching is implemented in Panwai, with no more than 30 students per class and two class teachers assigned to ensure that every child receives sufficient attention. The pursuit of efficient class requires teachers to prepare teaching designs in advance, explain knowledge points thoroughly in a way that is easy for children to understand within 40 minutes, exchange teachers' high level and high investment for children's light load, and give children more disposable time to develop their interests and hobbies.

學(xué)校有專職心理教師開設(shè)心理課。
心理教師根據(jù)不同年齡段孩子身心發(fā)展特點(diǎn),設(shè)計不同心理課程,用戲劇表演、情景模擬等多種方式,帶領(lǐng)孩子認(rèn)識自己、認(rèn)識他人,并學(xué)會接納自我、包容多元,處理與他人的關(guān)系。校內(nèi)定期開展形式多樣的心理活動,讓孩子陽光向上,茁壯成長。
The school has dedicated psychological teacher who offers psychology classes. Psychological teacher designs different psychological courses based on the physical and mental development characteristics of children in different age groups, using various methods such as drama performances and scenario simulations to lead children to understand themselves and others, and learn to accept oneself, tolerate diversity, and handle relationships with others. Each class has a psychological counselor and regularly participates in psychological counselor training. There is a "Psychological Mailbox" in each classroom and campus to receive students' "Spiritual Stories". The psychological counseling room is always open to students in need.

Adopting the CLIL teaching method, international literacy programs such as Cambridge English, Cambridge Mathematics, Cambridge Science, STEAM, and football are taught by foreign teachers, achieving a shift from simply learning English to using English as a medium for subject learning.
